I’m not surprised at the technical fragility of Truth Social, and how easy it is to hack - in addition to all its legal and financial troubles caused by poor leadership.
I actually know their latest CTO (hired last summer, just laid off this month during a staff purge). I worked for his startup company as a database architect until the startup was acquired. The guy thought he was a self-taught tech genius, but he was hand-wringingly awful. He would pull stunts like rewriting the entire DB structure by himself over a weekend, seat of the pants, without notifying anyone, causing crashes and security disasters. Considered himself a libertarian and blew his entire buyout windfall on a couple of quixotic runs for Congress. Now he’s a trumper? OK then.

This is actually a very serious question. I’m convinced that the man is mentally ill; it really is the only explanation for some of his behavior. Now, I’m no psychiatrist and have never met the man, so my “diagnosis” is worth what I’ll charge you for it. That boy just ain’t right…
