I don’t think that going Sgt. Schultz on us is going to get you off, asshole. It is obviously time to make another trip to Kansas and hide behind the Kochs.

“I was working” is shorthand for ‘I was frantically advancing the extremist agenda of my paymasters and generally tugging on the righthand side of the Overton window as hard as I can before I inevitably have to spend more time with my family and reap a harvest of fat directorships.’

“I’m busy making plans to spend more time with my family.”

"Pompeo said he “didn’t see a single thing today” because he was “working.”

“Sounds like you might not have been,” Pompeo quipped. “I was in meetings all day and haven’t had a chance to see any of that testimony.”"

Yeah, that’s a good idea, Mikey. Just keep poking the media snake with your very short stick.

Except part of a reporter’s job is to listen to and watch what’s going on, and then ask questions of the people involved or implicated - especially if those people are government employees and the thing they’re implicated in is corrupt or illegal.

I guess he didn’t like the sound of “I’m not talking about that on advice of counsel”

Just a guess, but I don’t think he’s going to become a senator.

Oh no, Mike, I was working. This is my job, asking traitors like you to account for themselves and then reporting on the half-truths and outright lies I hear in response.

Poor Fat Mikey, all his dreams of being president one day have gone up in the grease fire that is every relationship with this illegitimate POTUS.

He’s not in Kansas now, but he may end up in Leavenworth.

If he doesn’t run, that increases the odds Kobach will win the primary and open the doors for a Dem or an independent taking the Kansas Senate seat. Win-win.

Busy on the phone, getting his cable, internet, water, and electricity turned back on in Kansas.

People usually get snippy when a raw nerve is struck. Pompeo is revealing in his response.

How about: Ambassador Sondland testified that you directed the scheme to hold up military aid to Ukraine unless they agreed to announce a phony investigation to discredit Job Biden? What, if any, facts do you have to dispute his testimony?

I am so f’n tired of these poor questions from lazy reporters and congresspeople. Doesn’t anyone prepare?

I can’t wait to see Kevin James play him in the movie. It wasn’t enough for him to act smug by openly declaring that he wasn’t following the most important news story of the day, as if ignorance somehow excused him from commenting. The added insult of suggesting that journalism isn’t a job is truly bizarre.

These people can’t help themselves. Every president hates the media at some point, but this is the first modern presidency that openly taunted reporters and declared them the enemy. The Bushies had them wrapped around their fingers, while the Trumpers can’t help but dig themselves deeper with attacks.

Pompeo realizes its over. Dead Diplomat walking.

He is in Brussels and our allies are now highly suspect of our role in the world and whether we will remain in NATO.

It won’t be long before Pompeo will be out of government all together.
