The site is already devoted to legitimizing attacks on the election and articles trying to tear down any message of unity…really working overtime already to justify complete and total refusal to come to the table and to engage in absolutist obstruction, revealing that “unity” really just means “let the GOP govern anyway even though you won” to them.

I know a lot of us are laughing at the flailing and total landscape press conferences. I would warn otherwise.
This is much more than a grift for campaign debt. It is more than soothing Trump’s ego before quietly going into the good night. This is a five alarm fire that dems need to crush. full stop. now.

McConnell makes gentle statements of support, and receives Barr visit yesterday.
SGA and WH refuse to accept transition, or acknowledge Biden victory.
Barr gives ok to “look” into election issues.
Trump fires Esper (who said he would not use troops against citizens)
Pompeo now says Trump won.
Stir up every claim. keep filing lawsuits, regardless of any merit.
Slow down and stop certification of election in enough states. Fight it out in court, appeal to SC. Stay in power.
Dems need to get a line of attack and a message. You don’t want to be having to be reacting to this sh!tshow. Get ahead of this and kill this game now.
The administration IS NOT just going to voluntarily give up.

Yeah, I had the same take on it if you watch the whole clip. That quip at the beginning about a second term was just his usual riffing style. He avoided saying anything about the election being fraudulent, so he’s just stalling like everyone else to avoid getting hammered by Trump. Nothing to see here or get concerned about.

We all need to look deep inside ourselves and ask exactly what we are each willing to do to stop this before it goes too far. I assume you recall what certain people pledged when they signed the Declaration of Independence. It might come down to that. I hope not.

We’ve talked among ourselves many times and MSM did so as well saying authoritarianism is what the loser was introducing to our democracy. It was shocking to hear one man spew these lies and take the actions to further the downfall of a democracy, and to see what used to be fairly grounded individuals rush to his side to do the same is shocking.

They’re scared to death of him, but President-elect Biden has not yet reached his primacy in running the government and won’t until January 20. He and his administration will tell these trumPPuppets how it’s going to be going forward.

I’m not sure they think of the future at all. They start off with the assumption that everything Trump says or does is golden. A modicum of self-reflection would warn most of them to stay the hell out of it, but I guess they lack that basic apparatus that most of us take for granted.
