Not every state has front license plates – North Carolina does not, for instance.
I remember reading something in the last couple of years about obscured license plates being a thing with the police. Can’t remember where it was; might have been New York. The author of the piece was an ex-policeman, I think, and he was on a crusade to expose people doing this. Did not make him very popular with the local police.
I think the “bomber” is something other than a MAGAT. I think he is one of those hate group/terrorist inclined guys who just want total disruption of all things “American Dream.” I think he might be part of a group of people who came to America to escape their extreme fanatical distrust of the government they left in Russia, and are just as distrustful of the government here. Hard for them to see which is worse…

Yeah, I am trying to figure out why pro-Gazan sentiments would be served by burning ballots. This is much more the kind of stunt the MAGA crowd does, thinking that all ballots in a drop box would be from Democratic voters.

I see quite a few cars here in Oregon whose owner has “forgotten” their front plate, and/or have obscured their rear plate with darkened plastic (as a defense against speed and stoplight cams). Not usually older cars, though.
