Pelosi’s dad Tommy D’Alesandro was mayor of BAL from 1947-1959, and before that 1937-1947 represented BAL in the House and was great pals with FDR.
Nancy represents the district where I live and I’m pleased to be able to say that. I wish more people knew it. She’s also the the first woman to serve in the House whose dad was also in the House.
