NEW YORK (AP) — Investment firm Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. has appointed retired Army general David Petraeus, who resigned as CIA director last year after an extramarital affair, as chairman of its newly created KKR Global Institute.Petraeus served as CIA director from September 2011 until last November, when the affair with a biographer triggered his resignation. Before becoming CIA director, Petraeus served more than 37 years in the U.S. Army, where he attained the rank of four-star general.
