Perry is just saying out loud what many of the capitalist Christian dominionists have been saying since Trump’s election - not a new concept. However, when you stand back, it becomes hard to ignore how batshit crazy these people are. It is a another form of conspiracy - anything that benefits them is God’s will (tax giveaways), and anything that threatens them is evil - Elizabeth Warren, say. It is a great belief system for the already wealthy and those that want to cater to them and become wealthy themselves, because it absolves you from all of the evil being perpetrated to uphold this system. Poor people getting fucked over? - God’s will. End of discussion.

But commonsense tells me, by what I’v heard, if he is the “chosen one”,
shouldn’t his ass be sacrificed and sent to a place where he will be remembered but never heard from again?
