Maybe it tastes good (sorry to be so crude; but I am ‘sure’ Donald J Trump SENIOR has the bestest smelling bestest tasting penis in the whole wide WORLD).

I just made myself nauseated.

Perdue: “I am an independent thinker”

As a Georgia for 17 years a know a bit about it’s politics, Republicans are going to win next election, they basically codified into law, besides all the vote suppressing measures, they passed a law that allows the Legislature to take over a county election board, they are already working on giving control of the election board of Fulton County, and trust me a whole lot of votes are going to be disqualified there come next November. Kemp is unpopular with republicans because he did not go along with Trump and he is the one being blamed for the two senate seats lost (I know it makes no sense, but just talk to any republican voter). So unless, some other well known Trump ally jumps into the primary Purdue is going to win.

Ok. Perdue doesn’t trust the vote count so how does he know if he wins?

I suspect he’s hedging his bets, hoping to be seen as a supporter for a 2nd term of trump with Putin’s backing. Tucker has got to know Putin has supported trump materially. Tucker will be their Minister of Truth. He’s had lots of experience on Fox. Joseph Goebbels will be his model.

Or not be in the minority. We are hearing Republican congress vermin talk about how they are increasingly concerned for themselves and their families if they step away from the status quo on any given issue. I will point out again, that Congress can declare war and put troops in harms way based on the oath those troops have taken. And those troops go. But when it comes to protecting the Constitution and doing what is patently the right thing, the Republican congress person is hiding away, allowing harm to occur because they are too cowardly to stand up for something critically important. Sorry, they made the job dangerous when they looked the other way as this crap ball continued to grow. So they are not just looking for power only, but simply want to avoid the appearance of doing the right thing. Otherwise the monsters they created will come knocking on their front door. And those monsters are not liberals and democrats.

“I, AB, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion, and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter. So help me God

These are just words to be mumbled for the photo op when they take office. It is meaningless to them if they do not take it as an obligation to the people that is exercised regardless of the personal outcome.

Basically Tucker is perfectly fine with being a traitor and an opportunistic scumbag. In my opinion.

Yep these types exist in every society.

That is just proof that Sen. Perdue is manifestly unqualified to be the next Governor of Georgia. By his own admission, he would not honor his Oath of Office. Ms. Abrams would be wise to let all of her fellow citizens know that Perdue would rule Georgia in an unlawful manner.

It’s shocking to see how democracy is so disposable to these clowns.

Admittedly more in number here that I thought. They have totally turned the system upside on its head, allowing them to rush in like rats at a feast. The societal checks and balances have been dented severely at the moment. The biggest antidote is to stand up and not be taken down in the that rush simply by fear. They really cannot deal with resolute opposition. This is why I am uncomfortable with some of the more whining and frail sounding responses from the Democrats. It encourages the vermin to continuing gnawing away with their audacious behavior. MTG and Boebert live for that.

But Trump has been involved. He’s been bashing Kemp regularly for a year including some in-state brownshit rallies [accidental typo but I didn’t correct it…]. How many Georgians haven’t heard his endless whine about the stolen election and Kemp’s role in it? If all Trump’s been able to do is get Perdue even with Kemp, then he’s got some work cut out for him.

Nothing like declaring that you plan to have a lawless administration right from the beginning instead of having to worry about covering it up, saves the investigators a lot of time.

I wouldn’t have signed it until those things had been investigated
  - Perdue, 2021

“And then I would have signed it. See? Cause I’m a tough guy. See?”

He’s still butthurt about getting laughed at when he applied to the CIA.

Perdue told Axios on Wednesday afternoon that he wouldn’t have signed off on his state’s results.

“Not with the information that was available at the time and not with the information that has come out now. They had plenty of time to investigate this. And I wouldn’t have signed it until those things had been investigated and that’s all we were asking for,” he said.

Question for Mr. Perdue: …Precisely and concretely what were " those things" ?

I know I’m in the TPM echo chamber … so just preaching to the choir.

But - FFS - how can some one have as little self respect as Ted Cruz?

I think he looks like he doesn’t even believe the shit he is saying.
