Sens. David Perdue (R-GA) and Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) refused to apologize for playing into President Donald Trump’s election conspiracies Tuesday night after being called out by a top Georgia elections official.
I’m certain this weekend will be all Trump all the time.
And Perdue and Loeffler are willing participants in their own demise.
Fools in thrall to a fool.
Maybe I’ll up my monthly donation to Fair Fight.
These two need to go. Far, far away.
He will endorse both Perdue and Loeffler but the focus of the rally will be Donald J. Trump. No doubt that his Saturday rally will be a full on grievance fest
So if I’m to believe the conspiracy theorists, Dems stole the election by coordinating federal, state, local officials (from both parties), private industry and maybe even foreign governments with enough savvy to win the presidency but keep the senate campaign in flux (to cover the trail?). If this is indeed true, I’m all in to let Dems run the country based on showing incredible vision, strategy, and execution.
But whether he has the discipline to keep his campaign stop this weekend from turning into a list of grievances about stolen elections is far from certain.
If there’s one thing we can be absolutely certain of it’s that Trump will turn this rally into an airing of grievances about the election. The only question anyone should have is whether his endorsement is full-throated or half-assed. That probably isn’t all that uncertain either.
“We won’t apologize for addressing the obvious issues with the way our state conducts its elections. Georgians deserve accountability and improvements to that process.”
I had no idea that Loeffler and Perdue were such close allies of Stacey Abrams.
