Impeachment would require evidence of “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”
Only one Cabinet official has ever been impeached. He held the position Esper holds – and was revealed to be corrupt. (To be fair, he served in the Grant Administration, which was itself corrupt six ways to Sunday.)
