Former Vice President Mike Pence will not appeal a federal judge’s order that he testify in special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation into former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
If it’s not public testimony then can we ask for the proverbial fly on the wall?
Does the passage from the article below mean Pence does not have to answer questions that pertain to the fake elector scheme?
“In his ruling, Boasberg’s agreed that Pence can decline to answer questions related to his legislative actions on Jan. 6, as he was acting as the president of the Senate while he presided over the certification of the election results.”

Judge Boasberg did grant Pence a partial victory, agreeing with his lawyer’s argument that the Constitution’s Speech or Debate clause gives the former vice president some limited protections.
Now we know how Pence feels about public mental masturbation.

The judge explicitly said Pence must testify about conversations with Trump leading up to Jan 6. He conceded Pence a carve-out regarding his role as Senate Prez, evidently limited to the day of Jan 6. So it seems to me that Pence has no choice but to finger Donnie.
It appears that Allen Weisselberg betrayed Skanky, Wanky and the Golden Toilet Organization despite not cooperating fully. His notes are crucial evidence.
Too bad Weisselberg did not get to share in the real action for all the work he did to enable the extra-curricular activities.
Pence will lie and not cooperate meaningfully. He believes or is afraid that Skanky is the Chosen One, the Second Coming.
I read this as “…those things from the time he got up on the podium until the time he got down.”
So, for instance, he would not have to answer a question such as, “Why did you pick up the gavel with your left hand?”
However, questions such as, “In the week before January 6, did the former reality TV show host, twice-impeached defeated and disgraced former president, and now indicted felony criminal defendant pressure you to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election?” would need to be answered.
My guess is that Pence will have no trouble providing testimony that completely trashes Trump and he’s never not wanted to provide that testimony. His refusal was nothing more than a show of playing “hard to get” in order to appear to the MAGA crowd as though he’s really on their side. It was all just a stupid and desperate attempt to court votes he was never going to get anyway.
One way or the other, special counsel Jack Smith better get Pence’s testimony soon, because I anticipate that Pence will still refuse to answer many questions, leading to the need for more judicial rulings.
In his remarks from the podium, Pence added a bunch of language that clearly was in response to the fake elector scheme.
