Vice President Mike Pence said on Saturday that he and his wife Karen will be tested for COVID-19 after one of his staffers came down with the illness.
BTW, per JHU, Italy’s death toll has now far exceeded China (as of this comment) = 4825
And the US moved up above Germany to the top five in the world with total confirmed infections = 23,480
Meanwhile:
How can this Irresponsible + Incompetent + Greedy Trump Regime still worry about their numbers?
Is the Trump Regime following the footsteps of Putin?
“I am categorically sure, there are more coronavirus patients than the authorities are stating,” said Anastasia Vasilyeva, who leads Alliance of Doctors, a group that campaigns for health care improvements, and an ally of the opposition leader Alexey Navalny.
Addendum:
Meanwhile, Coverup Barr asks more emergency powers amidst pandemic…Imagine that, it certainly did not take weeks or months for the Trump Regime to take advantage of the crisis vs their response to the pandemic!
I fully support the testing for VP Pence on national security grounds. I don’t know what the medical necessity or rush to test Karen is even if she and the COVID-19-positive staffer were an item. She does not need to be tested as long as she is asymptomatic.
Mike isn’t permitted to be alone with a female outside the family. Karen has to accompany her husband in the event the test administrator is a woman, so as long as she’s there…
To get to some sort of catch-up for the lost weeks, the US needs to be performing 200-300,000 tests a day. It seems we have a new viral shedding problem which implies that absolute or very strict social isolation is imperative for seniors and other at-risk groups.
Well Mike using your own words you and mother may find out eh ?
"“But the other piece is, as Dr. Fauci said, and I’ll yield to him, in deploying those medicines, we’re working specifically with one state to do so in a way that represents a clinical trial,” said Pence. “So it would not just be compassionate use, which the medicines are already being used for in some jurisdictions today, but also we could study it and determine the viability of it,” added Pence. “And in fact, we’re working diligently right now with that supply chain to make sure that those medicines are available.”
