Pence says he doesn’t ‘recall’ being put on standby when Trump visited Walter Reed in 2019
Vice President Pence, when asked about reporting in a new book that he was told to be on standby when President Trump made an unannounced trip to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in November, said he didn’t “recall” it.
One would think one would remember that you might be the next in line if Trump croaked.

“Our country has changed,” Roberts wrote in the opinion he delivered that day, Shelby County v. Holder . It has wiped away so much of its racist past that the “extraordinary measures” employed by a key provision of the Voting Rights Act could no longer be justified.
