Perfect timing.
Amid the House of Representatives debating articles of impeachment against President Trump, his vice president was nowhere to be found — well, at least not in Washington.
Pence is smart enough to notice the decaying corpse smell coming from the White House to leave town.
Pence has been trying to walk a very narrow tightrope of both avoiding any action that might get him directly implicated in any of Trump’s crimes while, at the same time, not pissing off Trump. He hasn’t really succeeded in either. We’ll see if he’s able to continue avoiding any real trouble for himself, though.
Probably a smart move because there’s no doubt Trump is raging about this right now. I don’t think even a Happy Meal could bring him much solace now. That speech tonight in Michigan…I shudder to think how much more off the rails it’s going to be, compared to his usual off the rails rallies. I honestly think we could have a version of Kristallnacht tonight…on American soil. Something absolutely unthinkable until Trump was foisted upon us by the Russians to destroy us from the inside.
And brave Sir Michael ran away … again.
People are saying that Pence has been carrying on an affair with someone on his staff. I think this deserves an investigation. See how easy that is?
Pence is quite portable. Just fold him up, stick him in carry-on luggage, and stow him in the overhead bin.
