Without Barr to stop investigations, Trump would already be gone. Barr is not going anywhere, he, Trump and the republican senators are one big criminal organization now, it is all or nothing. Either we, the public do something now or this nation is lost to these scum.

Attorneys who are employed by the Justice Dept need to grow a pair. These people know Barr is violating the Constitution and also acting on the behalf of tRump, not the American people but they are so terrified of being tweeted by tRump and losing their jobs they themselves have become complicit in the whole thing. IMHO they should all resign in mass.

Doesn’t really matter if it’s legit or not. The WH, its DOJ and a majority of US Senators have determined that those who favor the rule of law are biased against the president and should be summarily vilified and discounted.

Because nobody has had the balls to call out Barr on TV about whether the ‘job’ those tweets impede is pursuing justice for the American people (which Trumps tweets would in no way inhibit) or covering up Trump’s misdeeds.

I see above the article about the 1100 DOJ alumni signing a letter calling for his resignation. They’re not falling for it.

Short: No they don’t.
D.O.J: Roger Stone, having been found guilty on seven counts, including lying to Congress, lying to the F.B.I., and witness tampering, should receive a stiff jail sentence under federal sentencing guidelines.
Trump: Nope. But McCabe should be locked up.
Barr: Nope. But the Mueller investigators should be investigated.
Trump: Article II and Barr say I have the legal right to do anything.
Short: Trump is being treated unfairly by a two-tier system of justice.

If Barr’s involvement constitutes a resignable offense in the signatories’ view, what does that say about Trump’s?
They condemn Trump, but do not call for his removal.

Yes, this news is legitimate.
However, for the opinions of over 1000 former DoJ lawyers to mean anything, Barr would have to have a sense of shame. But shamelessness is one of litmus tests for working in this maladministration, so don’t count on this meaning anything more to these a**holes than an impeachment did.

Trump is a simpleton and mentally ill, and his behavior is very predictable as a result. No argument there. But he’s just sentient enough to know when he has a real, real problem. The Access Hollywood tape was a real problem, and he apologized for it through gritted teeth in what looked to us all like a hostage video. It looks clear from the reporting that Barr came to him and said if I don’t make some daylight between us I’m going to have a riot on my hands inside the department and that’s extremely dangerous for us both. In every other instance Barr has been the best friend Trump ever had, utterly compliant and his most effective co-conspirator. I think the preponderance of the evidence says this is a scam they cooked up. The thing Trump isn’t smart enough to do is act like it isn’t, by blasting Barr.
