Pelosi Urges Sergeant At Arms To Refuse Entry To Congress Members Who Resist Wearing Masks

As Speaker, can’t she require the committee Chairs (who are all Democrats) to require masks for anyone there in person?

Masking is mandatory for anyone on the premises where I work, unless there’s a medical reason why someone can’t wear one. She can do the same thing.

Oh, you. Looking for a conspiracy everywhere.

Sheesh, it’s 2020. A malaria outbreak in August is quite possible.

Abbott is in the bullshit Sweden camp of “people will use common sense” and voluntarily wear masks. And look at the infection rates of our southern and western states that are not mandating masks in public.

Cue the poutraged House GOP clueless fucknuts screaming, "An indefensible intrusion on our 1st Amendment rights! Maybe she should change her name to Nancy Pol Pot instead of Nancy Pelosi!!!" in 3…2…1…

The dumbing of America is almost complete. From anti-vaxxers and flat-earthers to anti-maskers and plandemic fans, we have lost ourselves in a sea of stupidity. Once everything is politicized and has a “side”, no further progress to be made. The Republicans have been doing this for years, but Trump has elevated it to moron level.

Used to be that everyone hated the government until they saved you from eating poison hamburgers. Now a significant portion of the country demands the right to eat all of the poison burgers they crave. This is the kind of progress that can kill us.

The sergeant-at-arms should don full PPE gear and then drag out the unmasked pigs by the ears before dunking them in a vat of disinfectant.

Dense “swatted away” the idea of a Covid second wave. Of course. We’re months away from finishing the first wave.

ETA. I see @lastroth beat me to this. At the first post!

That would hurt both sides more or less equally. The program the WH is following – although they can’t say it out loud – is to have the virus “wash through” the population as quickly as possible, so the economy can recover by November. Or at least look like it’s headed that way.

For Trump, the state of the economy = his chance of getting reelected, full stop. He doesn’t care how many people die to get there.

At this point, a parade for the devil down Broadway followed by 4 giant NYPD officers on horses breathing fire seems entirely possible.

Soon enough, mask wearing will be a sign of witchcraft.

In the middle of a deadly pandemic looking out for each other is only being reasonable and safe… no matter what Matt Gaetz might think.

Masks please.

Mrs darr just got done making piles of masks she is sending to our extended family. It’s the right thing to do.

But don’t you have to go down first before you can rise again? Because otherwise wouldn’t it just be one wave, that dips and rises, dips and rises?

In his opinion. Won’t find it in the bible unless you twist the words. But you do find multiple wives, slavery and other inhumane treatment.

Well we’re all thinking the same thing. But this time it bares repeating.
