Pelosi: Ukraine Call Memo ‘Confirms’ Need For Impeachment Inquiry

Iran must be real, real nervous right about now. Some serious tail-waggin’ is coming…

I believe Combover Caligula is a snowflake so I think resignation under an immunity deal is more likely than risking impeachment. However, even though the US AG’s (Trump’s boy Bill Barr) agreement is a given, that has to assume the Democrats as well as the AG’s of NY, Virginia, and other states where Trump and members of his family are under investigation for criminal conduct all play ball too.

Could be an order too tall to stand against the political winds which is why my bet is just on the ginger git leaving rather than the manner in which he leaves (impeachment, resignation, stroke out, whatever).

Addendum: I really want him gone but not too fast. Need to get Pence out too as well as wipe out the McConnell claque in the Senate. Would love to see Pelosi slow-walk this as she has so carefully done the past year. Grind 'em into powder Nancy.

I saw very little skepticism.

But I did see multiple calls for her resignation or replacement, comments about her age, statements that she was in it for money, remarks that she was doing trump’s bidding, that she wasn’t really a good Democrat, and on and on.

And all from people with no knowledge of what she was doing (sotto voce) behind the scenes as she applied her skills to the issue to get the outcome she wanted at the right time.

So, yeah—apologies are needed.

BTW—there are now 213 House Dems in favor of impeachment.
Only five to go for the majority in a vote.

So Nancy is utterly and completely vindicated.

Not many other people had the confidence that Pelosi did that Trump would eventually do something far worse and easily understandable, and that there would be documentary evidence. And, as a bonus, it’s all wrapped in Rudy’s crazy and Barr’s unique attempts at cover-up.

As much as I love the momentum, the thought of (gag) President Mikey Pence makes me want to spew…

Hopefully, there’s enough on Mikey to have him do a Spiro…

The quickest way for a Democrat to end their political career and become an absolute pariah would be to agree to an immunity deal. And couldn’t a future AG rip up any immunity deal especially one negotiated by someone as woefully partisan and in the tank for Trump as Barr?

Because many other people aren’t as smart as she is. This was ALWAYS going to happen, he genuinely cannot help himself. She was utterly correct in predicting “He will self-impeach.”

How does one say “What the fuckety fuck?” in Ukrainian?

And she refers to the release as the “notes of the call,” not a transcript. She’s on top of it.

Maybe just 4 — Justin Amash is likely a “yes” for impeachment vote.

The whole “family” could move to Moscow. No extradition treaty. It’s the least Vlad could do for the Don.

Wouldn’t like to bet on that given how much work Pelosi had to do just to get close to a majority vote on impeachment (and she’s still not quite there).

IT is a daunting prospect.

But far less dangerous and far less deranged than a continuation of the Trump administration.

Well, someone might drown in the White House “full immersion baptisms.”

I have a list . . . .

Pelosi said that Trump either “does not know the weight of his words or he does not care

The Dems need to be very clear that he does know. Claiming ignorance of the law was how a lot of these ghouls skated last time. Don’t let them pretend they still don’t get it after 2 years of investigation by Mueller.

Now that the rabid raccoon is in the corner and snarling, the sooner he is relieved of power the better. As horrible as Pence is, he is at least an approximation of a human being and not a rage-filled narcissist who presents a real and present danger to the world every day he is in office.

Yes! It wasn’t skepticism. It was an all out attack on her character, leadership, loyalty, and sense of duty.

True, but I was talking about a Democratic AG at the state level. I’ve been saying that if Leticia James can nail his ass and/or his children, she’ll be a shoo in for governor or a senator or whatever the hell office she wants to pursue.
