So… the plan is to kidnap the Finnish fisherman, have them do a few dozen decades of chattel slavery for us, replete with all the heinous abuses that that implies, then release them from bondage, promise them rights, but take those rights away explicitly, seemingly randomly and arbitrarily, and in violent ways, while continuing to exploit them (but only in “the menial tasks their kind are best suited for”, while simultaneously calling all the problems they subsequently have, as a result of all our actions, their incipient problems because, hey, “they’re Finnish fisherman—they’re born that way and are too lazy and shifty to ever be anything other than that”? Seems like Fuentes may be on to something there…but why does he hate Finnish fisherman so much?
