Gov. David Paterson (D) said today that if the developers behind the controversial Cordoba House agree to move their planned Muslim community center farther away from Ground Zero, he would “look into trying to provide them with the state property they would need.”At a press conference today, Paterson said that while he supports the Cordoba House and thinks the developers have a right to build it at the proposed site, he is “very sensitive to the desire of those who are adamant against it to see something else worked out.”
