Yep, this is another example of why some analysts think that Iran is winning, now that the US says that international rules don’t matter all that matters is power, well the Iranians have the power of closing the straight and charge a toll to anyone that passes through. They could even claims that those are reparations for the unprovoked and treacherous attack.

But only subject to such regulations as Congress may enact. And they have an argument – weak, in my estimation, but barely plausible – that Congress setting Election Day established a deadline for ballots to be in the hands of the elections officials responsible for counting them.
