Over 1 Million Passengers Screened For Flights In US | Talking Points Memo

One can make a case that Reagan, that great script reader, bears a lot of responsibility here. The me generation, greed is good, Gordon Gecko, and like that. They pushed out a good man, Carter, in favor of a selfish appeal. Sacrifice? Bad for the country, according to them.

A bit of googling leads to analyses that the baby boomers are the me generation who voted for Reagan. That’s total bullshit. I, and the boomers I know, didn’t vote for Reagan, and we saw his approach as ruinous. Such approaches as we’ve seen take decades and generations to play out. We need the anti-Reagan to come forth, someone who’ll sit on a metaphorical flagpole and get the word out that true religion requires both charity, and sacrifice.

She actually had covid early on in the pandemic. She had a high fever and covid toes, of all things. She said the only good thing about having it was she had to quarantine for 14 days and she feels like those 14 days of rest have fueled her for the past 5 months. Thanks for your kind thoughts.

She’s a pediatric nurse, so at least she doesn’t have to deal with belligerent patients but sometimes the parents are a real trip. She doesn’t judge them, though, because their child is sick and that’s a terrible thing to deal with. She’s such a patient and calm person–we don’t know where that comes from–must have skipped a generation.

All’s he had to do was PRETEND to care and he would have been re-elected.

From the podium repeat the Mantras:

Wear your mask

Keep distance

Look out for one another (actually just feign it or give the appearance of)

Vaccine is on the way our biotech industry is working at warp speed.

If he just would have mouthed or parroted the above he would’ve won in a landslide.
Instead (luckily for the USA) he had two middle fingers raised to the country the entire time.

The question for historians will be
Was he as stupid as he was evil, or evil as he was stupid?
