Trump is not a joke
He is a clear and present danger to us all
The GOP laugh about him and his antics. But he’s not funny. To want to “terminate” the Constitution is treason. If he was elected again how could he take the oath of office?. It says " to preserve protect and defend the Constitution"!! Yet in his post he would do away with it!!!
And the GOP will find it impossible to process the fundamental reality that this has been Trump’s core perspective from day one - he is not a proponent of the USA - he was & is & always will be singularly devoted to his own advancement.
2 things: 1. I think Rev. Warnock wins a decisive victory in the Georgia runoff of more than 3 pts. 2. Mr. Trump’s increasingly crazy rhetoric seems designed to force GOP pols to ‘pick their spots’. He is going to make it increasingly difficult for GOP pols to stay on the fence, hoping that his support will dissolve. It makes sense as a strategy: ‘oppose me openly now or get in line’. Given the cynicism and cowardice of major GOP pols, it might work.
I think that Trump has found his new press secretary in Shannon Epstein. She sure does like to “speak the truth”. Too bad that those fascist flight attendants, passengers and deputies saw fit to deprive her of her first AND second amendment rights (the right to bite arms). So sad. Time to repeal the FAA–which isn’t even in the constitution, so it’s unconstitutional. FreeDUMB!
But, if accurate, the reported vandalism at multiple power substations, causing local blackouts, is obviously troubling.

It’s domestic terrorism, and it’s only going to get worse. Trump’s forces, and those of authoritarianism in general, lost big in the midterms. They saw what trying to keep and increase power in legal ways wrought them. Stinging, widespread defeats. They’ll not wait two years for another bite at the apple through the ballot. No, it’s time for chaos and mayhem. The power station destruction is a harbinger of more to come.
You might be right. I think he’s freaked out and turning the volume up to 11 and even 12, which considering we’re two years out from the election means he’s going to blow at some point. Of course calling for the abolition of the Constitution might be considered blowing past the point of any type of reality.
Trump et al have been using the “constitution” as a cudgel against the left for decades. Trump, especially so. But to them it’s just a word. Like “forefathers” and “freedom.”
It’s used to make us look unamerican.
NOW who’s unamerican? The guy who’s calling for the ACTUAL constitution to be TERMINATED…
…for his sake, and his sake alone…
This statement doesn’t help Trump at all. And we need to get statements from every R in congress as to whether or not they agree with the termination of our constitution.
No fan of Chuck Todd, but this is a pretty good rundown of how shitty Trump’s campaign is doing:
Or, he may be expressing the sentiment of 50-60-70 million citizens. Those that turn out to vote for him, and will continue to do so. Why worry about being PC when most of the people in your party want to burn down the nation just as you do?
Is there any low that is too low for Goopers to break with TFG? Nope! They may see him now as less electable than their new guy, but under no circumstances will they call out his authoritarianism.
Donald J. Trump: A Current and Present Danger to the United States of America
Yes, but a threat only to the extent that he can successfully achieve his goals of evading justice, becoming president again and dissolving the constitution. At this point even the first one seems doubtful. It’s his movement that we should be more concerned about, as it will outlive him both politically and literally. Who will rise up out of the shadows to take it over and run it more effectively and sanely (if you could call fascism sane)? His proto-fascist movement is shrinking even as it intensifies its rhetoric and actions, and probably cannot lawfully and democratically assume national power. The incoming house majority is razor thin and a joke, run by vile imbeciles who speak only to the MAGA crowd and likely to turn swing voters off of the GOP in 2024.
So, threat, yeah, but not quite as dangerous as he might seem. Bark more than bite.
Possibly. Just like nearly half the country approves of our government torturing terrorist suspects even though it’s against both US and international law.
Ask Newt about that as well.
iDJiT has only 16 R-congressmen endorsing him.
And only 1 R-senator.
I dont’ think that this ridiculous statement is going to add any more to that list.
Mostly Bullshit projection but, I am not on twitter…Is this true?
but anyone who’s spent even a little bit of time on Twitter knows that death threats are a daily occurrence on the platform
Elon Musk Opens up About Fears for His Safety, Says Assassination Is ‘Significant’ Risk – RedState
Musk did not say if he’s received credible threats to his life, but anyone who’s spent even a little bit of time on Twitter knows that death threats are a daily occurrence on the platform. The more you expose the bad actors, the more serious the threats become. And Musk has shown an impressive dedication to outing the censorious partisans who ran Twitter before his arrival, so it’s little surprise that those charlatans (and the unhinged masses that support them) would have him in their (hopefully figurative) sights. It’s pretty obvious that the left and their lapdog media friends are threatened by Elon Musk, judging from the way they’re attacking him and the independent journalists with whom he entrusted the first batch of documents.
Having “the stuff out there” is precisely why Musk is being targeted. He is an existential threat to the left, who are accustomed to facing few, if any, consequences for their malicious actions. It would be laughably absurd to suggest that Musk, even though he’s not naming names, feels threatened by conservatives. There’s one side that repeatedly uses violence to settle political scores or shut up their enemies: the party of Barack Obama and Joe Biden.
Yet more Democrat party-commie-radical-extremist-Jewish LIES! Time to abolish polls! They’re not in the constushun!
