Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), the first hijabi ever elected to Congress, didn’t hold back last night after far-right extremist Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) called her a “jihad squad member” in an unhinged rant during the House’s vote on censuring fellow racist Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ).
Boebert is an “insurrectionist” who “defecates and defiles” the House and “sleeps with a pervert,” Omar tweeted.

Accused sex trafficker Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) told Newsmax yesterday that Kyle Rittenhouse, who’s currently on trial for fatally shooting two people and injuring another during an anti-police brutality protest last year, would “probably make a pretty good congressional intern” and that his office “may reach out to him and see if he’d be interested in helping the country in additional ways.”
So we’re all clear on the code here, he’s implying Shooting the Libs is helping the country. When is this scum going to prison?
Sadly, that’s all a badge of honor with her supporters. She’s disrupting DC and that’s all the GQP’s intent is.
And she’ll be re-elected.
That’s all fine. But I remember a professor during the Viet Nam War saying to the class words to the effect that “you’ve got to convince the cop on the corner.”
Omar is preaching to her choir, which is fine and makes her and her choir feel good and all. And I’m sure her choir includes many TPMers, myself included. However, the cop on the corner should be hearing that Boebert is going to take away their healthcare, and Medicare for their parents, and will make sure that their grandchildren do not get Social Security. Now that’s something the cop on the corner will hear and understand. Defecation, maybe not so much.

Hey Gaetz, what were the original ways Rittenhouse “helped the country”? Was it by murdering two people at a demonstration he didn’t need to go to?? And wounding another? With is illegal weapon?
Welcome to the extended GQP mentality. The further they go down the path, the more they can normalize that path and sell it to their supporters. I expect the treatment of the Gosar video will follow as perfectly fine.

- The vote ended up being pretty decisive , even though the debate got dragged out to almost a year: 222 “yes”s and 8 “no”s.
- The USCCB’s decision came a little more than three weeks after Biden met with Pope Francis at the Vatican. The President said after the meeting that the pope had told him he should still continue receiving Communion even if he’s pro-choice.
The Eucharist Police lose at both the USCCB and the Vatican. That must sting.

I just got hit with the terrible realization that if the GOP retakes the House, they’ll almost certainly move to get revenge by a) making MTG and Gun-nut Barbie committee chairs, and b) censuring the Squad and probably even Pelosi because why not.

Gaetz Hints At Hiring Rittenhouse As Intern
Any time Matt Gaetz suggests interacting with a person under the age of 21, the first question that needs to be asked is, “What kind of physical relationship does he intend to initiate?”
Apparently most of the Goober House people are OK with depictions of killing other House Members. And that’s because they wanna be slaves of trump cuz reelection is first and foremost. Governing be damned.
It’s gonna be a whole lot worse than that.
Endless investigations, writing of impeachment articles against Biden.
Jordan has already promised retribution [when] the GQP take back the House.
