I’m lucky I only have to do about a 40 minute round trip in one of our most populous counties to drop mine off here. LaRose is a company man to the end and if the Rs and Trump hold this state it’s only through this kind of barely legal cheating and disenfranchisement. I dropped my ballet off at the BOE yesterday in Columbus. Biggest wait was actually getting into the parking lot. After that, cones and people directing traffic made it easy to get to the drop-off box where elections workers were collecting ballots and handing out “I Voted” stickers.

And then the Prez drops an F-bomb on Rush Limbaugh. Rush did not look happy in the clip MSNBC showed probably because it is obvious he did not install a ‘time-lapse’ of 3s to keep that from happening.
I hope for a BIG fine which Limbaugh can then ask The Donald to reimburse.

2,214, there are four or maybe five voting precincts. One early voting location, but everybody comes to town at least a couple times a month, even the hermitic retirees in the Davis Mountains Resort.

I remember feeling pissed off when the NY congressman was indicted, denied the charges, excoriated the Obama DoJ, won, and then immediately resigned as part of his plea deal (what was the name of the guy who threatened to throw the reporter off the balcony? THAT GUY) and there have been another couple of cases like that.
At least when Duncan Hunter tried it the feds said NAH and he is going to the POKEY.
A WASTE OF MY FUCKING MONEY. They took it right out of MY pocket. Assholes, the lot of them. Boy I am using that word a LOT today.

A few years back a woman who had lived thru Jim Crow in Georgia (part of Stacy Abrams’ highlighting the issue) in Georgia. She was testifying in Congress. She described that the rules they had in place NOW for her to register were MORE ONEROUS than Jim Crow!!!
She described every step she had to take THEN and every step NOW (like making her go to a lot of different offices) and it was astounding how the state had piled shit higher and higher onto people trying to register to vote.

Also ironic that the same people who say we need all these stringent ID checks to prevent fraud are totally against a national ID card that would be the most effective solution all around.

My mother was born in 1929 and her sister 1924. My mother moved back to-the-South 7 years ago-from here in California. She is mighty pissed that after decades of voting here she will have to get a WITNESS to sign her ballot that she isn’t committing Voter Fraud. What she said yesterday, is unprintable. When she moved and had to register in Louisiana- she was allowed to register without having to secure an original birth certificate which she did not have (even though Southern States were pushing that requirement).
Reciting the alphabet backward and guessing the number of jellybeans in a jar is not as onerous but voter suppression in THE SOUTH is still unforgivable.

Typical Republican bullshit trying to suppress the vote. Has there EVER been a “D” behind voter suppression efforts? Never! Republicans can only win nefariously. Why doesn’t someone bring DeWine in this argument? Get him on the record.

Here in Arizona, Tucson specifically, I went to our county recorder’s office around noon. The ballot box was crammed full. I know of 3 sites in Tucson open now and a couple more open on the 19th. Other sites in Pima County are taking in ballots. Seems Ohio doesn’t want anyone, including republicans to vote.
