I dont think Joe likes Donald.
There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell Trump will attend Biden’s inauguration & be televised sitting there in full view watching Biden take the oath of office.
If I’m wrong, the next round’s on me.
Remember his sulky behavior at the Bush funeral? I’m sure it would be a reprise of that or maybe worse. I, for one, do not need to see him again on that day.
I think he’ll be playing golf, phoning in inauguration play-by-play ranting to Fox and Friends, or perhaps holding a counter demonstration or rally involving WWE wrestlers, hundreds of rolling coal pickups and the Mormon Tabernacle Choir (or something like that).
She had to be bribed to leave NYC when Trump was elected. I expect her to go back to the townhouse and assert squatter’s rights.
“I’ll keep this, you take Mar-a-Lago, we’ll call it even.”
Hillary Clinton did that masterfully after hours of one of the Benghazi hearings.
Maybe the Dems need some dandruff shampoo?
“According to Biden, onlookers are thinking that what’s unfolding in the wake of the recent election is fitting of the sorts of issues that arise in “tinhorn dictatorships” rather than the United States.”
It’s not an image, it’s actual shakiness in our institutions that vandals like Trump’s 74 million voters (and those who split their tickets between Biden and GOP senators) will keep chipping away at.
Remember when Trump spoke of American Carnage at his inaugural and disrespected the captive audience of dignitaries assembled behind him? Remember how he was not invited to the funeral service for John McCain? Trump’s absence at Biden’s inaugural would not be missed.
Biden is heads and shoulders superior to Trump. He has an excellent sense of blue in his den of rex.
This is apt I understand he’s already wearing a diaper
so less mess
Win win
This is what I expect to happen, and it will be oh so delicious when he loses his account at 12:01*
*if Twitter stays true to their word that is.
If I were still working I’d bet a paycheck on it.
“It is totally his decision and it’s of no personal consequence to me,” Biden said during an interview Thursday when CNN’s Jake Tapper asked if he thought it was important for Trump to join in the event. “But I do think it is for the country.”
The President-elect said if Trump attended it would “demonstrate at the end of this chaos that he’s created that there is peaceful transfer of power with the competing parties standing there, shaking hands and moving on.”
What an eloquent, mature and responsible sic burn.
Seems a bit flakey?
Wow. There’s low-brow, and then there’s that collection.
I believe he’ll use the inauguration as an opportunity to announce his bid for 2024 in an attempt to suck the oxygen from the room, and it’ll fail with most people.
I doubt it will be like that, considering COVID and all. While they ARE building a platform and everything, the safety of the American people is taken seriously by the new president.
Joe ran his campaign, abiding by good science and the solid directions of many smart people. He had almost no campaign rallies, and was always masked. Obama’s own people were critical of this, early on. But Joe stuck to his guns.
AND, the Dems didn’t do any door-knocking this time around. R’s did. If we had had our normal GOTV, Biden would have won by 12-15 million.
Donnie doesn’t know it, but he got off easy.
He won’t be stalking around. This is one case in which social distancing is a plus.
Better off without him. He’d just scowl, smell bad, track Maga-mud all over the carpet, and eat all the food.
