Paging Valerie Plame. This stinks of the Cheyney playbook. Trump obviously wants to make this about the Deep State Democrat CIA, so he can attack the messenger. I really hope this person took all the names and saved all the receipts, cause it’s gonna get ugly real fast.
Mark Felt was a source for reporters, not an internal whistleblower. So his identity was kept secret by W and B, didn’t have the whole apparatus of govt winking and nodding about who it was.

This morning, a former senior White House official told me this “entire thing,” referring to the Ukraine scandal, was “Rudy putting shit in Trump’s head.”
I think Rudy should get an awards ceremony from Trump for this…

I do not know how many CIA employees are detailed in the WH but I think this is reckless of the NYT to publish this story because an hour ago, they also published that Trump just made a threat to the person who talked to the Whistleblower. So now, the pool has narrowed for Trump to hunt down the WH informant and the whistleblower…thus more people are endangered!

A man who would leave an American journalist in harms way in Egypt without an ounce of regard for his safety, and allow another American journalist to be tortured and brutally murdered, I think, it’s safe to say doesn’t give a damn about the safety of any whistleblower.
He’s a scoundrel and the fact that anyone can defend him in any way is an obscenity.
At least, we have an easy to apply litmus test now. Defend Trump and I automatically lose complete respect for you. It’s sad as sometimes it’s someone you previously liked now showing you their true colors. Almost as if you incidentally came upon them drawing a swastika on a church.

I would implore members of the media to give the whistleblower and his/her attorneys time to work their way out into the open at the appropriate moment. That person will likely be savaged prematurely otherwise.
