Russian intelligence services have attempted to sow division in the United States ahead of the 2020 election by fueling racial division

Leaving aside the infelicitous wording – sowing division by fueling division? – that’s not just “Russian intelligence services,” that’s Donald Trump.

Does it matter if Russians are doing it if they are saying what the idiots in these groups want to hear? Hard to distinguish this from the disinformation apocalypse Parscale is currently engineering.

President Democrat should immediately declare a national security emergency in response to the continued Russian aggression. Pursuant to the emergency, he should freeze all travel into the country by Russians; freeze all US assets owned by Russians; freeze all transfers of money to and from Russia–including any not-for-profits; freeze all acquisitions of property in the United States by Russians.

What reaction would you expect from the Republicans?

Let’s not forget Zuckerberg’s role here. He’s an ongoing threat to America as Facebook stands for fascism.

Not only Facebook: Many “social media” corporations could fail tomorrow and I wouldn’t shed a tear. The abuse, and the potential for abuse, not only political, far outweigh any benefit that I am able to perceive.

(It’s obvious that younger people don’t agree with me, and that’s just about everyone.)

I hope Americans learn what it feels to have other countries interfering in our elections. The US has been doing that to other countries for over a hundred years complete with CIA organized coups when the desired results are not obtained.

We’re the Leaders of the Free World, so it’s a bit different.

“Extremist groups” like TPM comments pages. New trolls joining every day and the “ likes ” coming from the usual suspects. But remember, it’s not fair to call them trolls!

Oh, go on, use whatever epithets you like. The epithets themselves don’t make the case, but I doubt this objection means much.
