Isn’t this the remedy that Bruce Castor proposed yesterday for the former President? Call the Justice Department?

It’s about time! I don’t understand why election interference/fraud wasn’t added to the charge of insurrection in the impeachment case. MULTIPLE COUNTS of election interference–GA, MI, PA…

This is going to be a political question, not a legal question.

I am pretty sure this could be a fast “investigation” and they could get a Grand Jury to return an indictment quickly.

The bigger question is whether or not the state of Georgia is willing to hold a trial for an ex republican President.

First the “water-main break”, then the 18k fake ballots, now the icing on the cake!

Fat Nixon has never, ever been held accountable for his behavior. It’s about time the spoiled child face the real world. If it takes a tsunami of ways to do that, so be it.

Kemp, Raffensberger and the rest of the traitors need to be primaried and the GOP nominate real Conservative Patriots that respect the greatness of President Donald J. Trump. If such candidates are fielded crooked Stacey Abrams and the rest of the election thieves will have no chance.

Bruce Castor said out loud what many have wanted DOJ attorneys to say: that it’s ok to investigate and charge a former POTUS if the facts warrant it. Trump intended to improperly alter election results (cheat). That was his intent. He wanted someone to do it for him. He cajoled public officials to lie and falsify records (e.g., find him 11,780 votes). That should be a crime punishable with a prison sentence. Hopefully, people will just follow the facts and apply the law and not be intimidated by Trump’s political standing.

Thank you again, Fulton County.

How about you, Michigan, PA, Arizona? Anyone else ready to step up?

It’s nice to have more than just NY get into the state level prosecution.
It means that, even if he gave himself a secret pardon, prosecutions (and incarceration) can proceed while the federal courts overturn it.
And more than one means it can’t just be dismissed as the fanaticism of Democrat New York politicians.

But … but … but according to the extraordinarily fat-assed short-fingered vulgarian loon with a Napoleon complex, his clown car of impeachment lawyers and all the Faux News stars, he’s not a former POtuS or an ex-pResident: he’s The 45th President. Just sayin’.

Trump spoke words to the Georgia SecState. He can do that. The 1st Amendment says so.

And perhaps more importantly, whether a jury in Georgia would convict him even in the face of overwhelming evidence.

Yes, Raffensperger has opened his own investigation.

The prosecutors in Fulton County are led by Fani Willis, a Democrat.

I would call this a target rich environment for prosecutors.

On January 2, 2021, Trump held a one-hour phone call with Raffensperger.Trump was joined by chief of staff Mark Meadows, trade adviser Peter Navarro, Justice Department official John Lott Jr., law professor John Eastman, and attorneys Rudy Giuliani, Cleta Mitchell and Kurt Hilbert. Raffensperger was joined by his general counsel Ryan Germany. On January 3, The Washington Post and other media outlets obtained a recording of this phone conversation.

Also, paging the DA offices in AZ, MI, PA and WI:

After the Georgia call, Trump and his team spoke on Zoom with officials in Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The state can’t stop it, since the charge comes from the Fulton County DA.
