OT but here’s a little video from Doug Emhoff on what he’s up to. He’s at the Library of Congress, researching the history of what other people in his position as a spouse have done, and thinking about his unique situation. Imagine that! Being thoughtful about his role, doing his homework, being ready when the time comes—might be coming back into fashion, you never know.
