NY AG Sets Sights On NRA Board Of Directors | Talking Points Memo

Yes, the arrogant fucks are going to give themselves the power, in the future no doubt, to refuse to comply with subpoenas they deem to lack in good faith. Since the NRA is good faith defined in its perversion of our politics and censorship of research that would militate against its agenda. Good faith my ass.

The four-bedroom, nine-bath home in a gated golf course community northwest of Dallas

What the fuck is wrong with these people needing a place to shit? Regardless, this is now existential for LaPierre. He either wins or dies in jail.

I’ve got a few gun nuts in my family but none of them care at all about the NRA. The NRA could get shut down tomorrow but the GOP gun cult will go on. This is baked into base. Or the base baked it into the GOP.

90 current and former board members is more than Ted Nugent would draw on the tavern and casino circuit.

They simply mean that when they are not prepared to comply with a subpoena, they will defy it by arguing that it’s unreasonable and not part of an investigation being conducted in good faith.

What that sort of argument might get the NRA is left to be seen but I know what their attorneys will get out if it.

Well, save some love for the gun-makers themselves!

They can all go Trump themselves–on bended knee.
