NRA Uses Looming Impeachment Threat To Squeeze Trump On Gun Control | Talking Points Memo

Could our country be any more revolting? I am just nauseous.

Absolutely right on all counts, especially the vise part.

Any guess on the first one to flip on him? I’m thinking his son Eric. Hahahahaha!

The Winger Sheriffs Association, while the President is being fully exposed for treason, gave the criminal an award yesterday and Trump made sure we saw it. Now here’s open quid quo pro with a winger, Russian-sponsored gun fetishist mob. Anyone see a pattern? Trump is gathering up the armed gun nuts of America to fight being held accountable for his crimes. If you really think I’m reading too much into this, have you been watching how Russia is trying to destroy America from within over the last 4+ years? Is it working? It’s all out there and mega-funded too. Brace, arm yourself with knowledge and bullets, and fight back at all costs. We have the majority and will win.

He thinks he’s going to claim mob boss/fixer privilege. I’d bet Adam Schiff has another idea.

I don’t mean to quibble, but if Trump agrees to kill gun legislation in return for money from the NRA, isn’t that bribery?

Silly, silly me.

It depends on what the definition of bribery is.

We have a good country and hard as the occupant is trying to corrupt and spoil it, it remains one. Of course, decreasing the immigrant quota to 18,000 a year from a high of over 100,000 a year under BHO won’t help. But the U.S. Constitution is intact and will remain so.

The NRA, according to the Senate, a Russian asset; that’s the GOP Senate, right? Wait a minute. What?

A para in the Times reporting which some people may not be able to access. This is a big fucking deal, as Joe might’ve said. No bucks, no bang.

Privately, Mr. Trump has raised questions with his aides about the N.R.A.’s ability to help back his 2020 campaign the way it did in 2016, when it poured over $30 million into his election, more than any other outside group.

Just last week, since Trump has been running for re-election and taking money from rich contributors since the day of his inauguration, some pundits were saying he had a war chest of hundreds of millions and Republican strategists were calling his re-election campaign the Death Star.

What happens to all of that money if he gets impeached? Can he use it for his legal bills?

Is PP actually a client, as in is Rootie actually paid for his services or he just an ass kissing fool who likes the publicity and TV appearances and meetings with foreigners that go with being called the attorney of record.

so the NRA is doing the exact same thing to Trump that he did to Ukraine…is this another ā€œperfectā€ phone call?

It would probably be illegal to use money raised for a reelection campaign on legal bills (donors give to a reelection effort not to a pay legal bills, fraud?) but the criminal in the WH will create a work around. But Parscale is trying to raise money right now on the ā€œthreatā€ to moron from impeachment.

Well, he’s not doing any legal work for Spanky. As someone on MSNBC pointed out, he’s not working on a divorce or representing him in litigation.

He’s doing what Cohen used to do for him, which is to intimidate people and fix things. And he’s doing it worse than Cohen ever did.

Of course he is raising money to fight his impeachment!

TRump is a walking pyramid scheme.
