How I wish Smokey the Bear was a real grizzly bear that would disembowel Donald for what he’s doing to national parks heritage.
I usually make it a point to visit a national park each year or two while on vacation. They’re usually well maintained but a bit stressed out with a maintenance backlog partially due to their popularity and lack of congressional will. Now when I visit them they will be a bit more worn because Trump decided to throw a party for him and his donors.

Just for a moment, let’s reflect on this pile of horse manure: The Current Occupant has corralled military services, national park services, countless federal workers and a host of other feckless toadies who orbit him constantly into backing this second-rate production of a tincan display of jingoism, all to satisfy his enormous appetite for self-aggrandizement. And we, the people, can do f**ck all about it except foot the bill with tax money. The voters who brought us this nightmare ought to feel ashamed. Really ashamed.
