That’s sort of a temporary fix, don’t you think?

“The weather service team has my full support and the support of the department until the Ebenezer Scrooge lookalike threatens my job again."

I’ll have to get back to you when my acting brain temporarily thinks.

My, what a nice-looking little Eichmann we’ve got right here.

Sounds to me like he spouted a whole lotta faux-laudatory evasive nothingness.

I was listening to NPR last evening as they interviewed a couple of weather folks from Birmingham who were not at all happy with him.

If he’s lost Alabama can California be far behind?

I remember a time when saying “Don’t piss on my leg and tell me it’s raining” would not be an actual request one would make to the head of NOAA.

Wanna bet? Prove it.

For the modern Republican Party everything is to be politicized.

If a government agency can make things chaotic in a Democratic state, do it. If it can resolve a fake problem in a Republican state, do it.

Truth is about as much the conservative purpose as letting us decide about it.

You post is an admonishment to remove Trump as quickly as possible.

I am sure you meant that
I am sure I agree with your assessment

It’s hard to get a man to understand that his boss is a fickle and impetuous preschooler trapped in a great grandpa’s body, when his salary depends on him not understanding that his boss is a fickle and impetuous preschooler trapped in a great grandpa’s body,

Unfortunately Jacobs doesn’t seem to realize that defending Trump now is a short-term win for a very long-term defeat because if I were in a position to keep him on or hire him in the future, I would very heavily weigh this decision of his against him. He has a responsibility to the truth and the people of the United States before any responsibility to Trump or his safe-guarding his job.

“The purpose of the NOAA statement was to clarify the technical aspects of the potential impacts of Dorian…” Can someone tell me what this means? If anything.

“No one’s job is under threat. Not mine, not yours."

Wanna bet?
(is Acting NOAA Jacobs really that obtuse?)

First he spits in your face. Then he licks it off.

Do we really need the weather service when we have the Old Farmer’s Almanac, Woolly Bear Caterpillars, Ground Hogs and a weather predicting rock?

Is no one in the Trump mal-administration that has any principle? . . . any backbone? . . . any guts? I guess not.
