I believe it was the philosopher quartet of T. Commerford, Z. de la Rocha, T. Morello, and B. Wilk who postulated the following in their debut thesis*:

Some of those that work forces
Are the same that burn crosses

Gee, I wonder if congress will do something now? And how the hell does a cop lose his weapon in a bathroom?

Capitol Police officers accidently left several guns in bathrooms throughout the building in 2015 and 2019; in one instance, the loaded firearm was discovered by a small child.

Happened in Missouri capital in 2013, but was the top aide (former lobbyist) to the speaker of the house. The Speaker assured the press that his aide was a responsible gun owner and that this was so unlike him.

I’ve said a few time I believe in comments I fully believe some white guy go into law enforcement just because they want to keep black folks in line and know they can probably get away with hurting them. I mean hell I’m sure it’s exactly why a lot went into it especially after the civil war.

Isn’t the “To Protect and To Serve” motto simply a facade for “To Protect and To Serve White Land or Property Owners”? America’s original sin is RACISM (sorry I gotta shout it) and is the founding and sole ideology of Trumpism and the Fascist Party, formerly known as the Republican Party.

This is simple truth.

These mofos would not let me and my wife in the building unless we tossed our water bottles in the trash.

Great article. We definitely need a full-scale 9/11 style investigation, followed by serious reforms. Our Capitol has to be secure, and at the same time accessible to all Americans. That’s obviously a difficult challenge for even the best police force.
