These types are obviously super-racist but what really typifies them is that they don’t like anyone who either isn’t like or threatens them (which is literally most of the world’s population since there aren’t necessarily THAT many ignorant white racist imbeciles in the world), they live and socialize in culturally and racially insulated communities, and they’re rarely meaningfully challenged. They see their perfect white worlds coming under attack, and are lashing out. And they’re far from only working class, struggling or rural. Lots of them are doing quite well for themselves, adding to their anger for fear of having it taken away by some undeserving and lesser, really subhuman “other”. Trump is their savior.
