Look at the teeth-gritting smile on Haley in that photo. Would someone please collect together for posterity all these pics of smiling faces posing with Trump? Each one has a tiny voice that pops out of the picture and says “hey look at me here, shorn of the last vestiges of my integrity, self respect, and dignity.”
Children of today and tomorrow deserve a clear warning about what can happen to you when you build your life around dishonesty and pretense.

If Trump runs she can’t run against him. The main chance is that he would crush her and leave her seriously wounded for the foreseeable future. And if by some miracle she beat him in the primary, she would lose a big chunk of MAGA voters in the general. It’s a fool’s errand.
If Trump doesn’t run she may retain his good will to help her through the primaries. That’s not a sure thing, though. Trump doesn’t stand by you for what you did for him in the past – he stands by you for what he thinks you will do for him in the future.
Could you see her as his running mate?
Possibly, but I don’t really think so. If they win (and he lives through the term) she has to play the Pence role for four years. That’s not very appealing. If they lose she is tarnished goods. I think she’ll opt to spend more time with her family.
In my lifetime, I can only think of a couple of VP losers who went on to be presidential candidates.
1976 - Bob Dole lost with Gerald Ford and then lost to Jimmy Carter.
1980 - Walter Mondale won then lost with Carter, then lost to Reagan.
Since then, nothing.
