Yes. It really is a shame they can make this argument in New York, while making the exact opposite argument in red states and all the while uniformly opposing national voter reform.

I’m opposed to gerrymandering, as a general rule, but even more opposed to unilaterally disarming.

Well, of course the trumpublicans are suing. They’re even suing in New Mexico over the new Congressional map, which actually makes each of the three districts MORE competitive, more balanced between Rs and Ds. (Which incidentally gives the Ds an advantage in each one…heh, heh, heh)

If you look at the district(s) they’re griping about in NY, of course some look gerrymandered. And if Republicans did this, I’d object. But this year, it’s an attempt to re-balance after all the R gerrymandering of 2011, so tough. It s**x to be them.
