Mr. Barr has not shown himself to be at all trustworthy and I wouldn’t expect any report before the election…unless it is so obviously a spin job meant to support any of the President’s insane allegations. If Mr. Trump loses in November, don’t expect any report at all.

Trump lies to the nation again. You’d think at some point, his cultish followers would notice Trump’s divergences from reality. But they don’t approach truth and fact like most people do. If Trump says the sky is green. Most of us would say, “no it’s not,” but Trumpers would say, “It doesn’t make any difference, what Trump means is that aspirationally, the sky must be turning green, even if it isn’t right now. Per the Times, Durham has focused in on a number of instances in which some analysts “sought access to delicate information from the other agencies and were told — initially, at least — that they could not see it.” I am certain this never happened before the Obama administration and I am certain it has not happened since. I am shocked.

Reading this article has not made me conclude that Barr is any more criminal, corrupt or evil than I believed before reading this article. Let’s just say that I had a preconceived notion, based on the universe of facts, reality and circumstances as they existed before reading this article. But admittedly, I now have an additional data point for concluding that Barr is as criminal, corrupt and evil as is obvious. He is misplaced in time and space, and clearly belonged in Nazi Germany in 1935, with that particular collection of fascists. He would have been a perfect fit—speaking of perfect.

Mr. Durham appears to be pursuing a theory that the C.I.A., under its former director John O. Brennan, had a preconceived notion about Russia
But, then…
The analysts could have been engaged in standard bureaucratic behavior like obeying the filtering process or hoarding sensitive information. Or perhaps they were trying to cover something up. The questions asked by Mr. Durham and his team suggest they are looking for any potential basis to support making the latter reading, officials said.

Exactly. Barr and Durham are looking for confirmation of a preconceived notion that Brennan and other intelligence heads were looking for confirmation of preconceived notions.

So, the standard process where agencies hold information and don’t share it until they think it’s solid, or because of inter-agency bickering, is going to be used to prove that Obama and his minions were trying to keep Trump from being elected? The same thing happened to cause 9/11, where a lack of intelligence sharing missed key details that likely would have uncovered the plot. That’s just how the bureaucracy works, despite some reforms…and, in the end, 17 agencies agreed that the Russians did it after evaluating all of the evidence.
Honestly, the biggest indication that they were trying very hard not to interfere in the election is that Obama didn’t stand up in front of America and tell us that the Trump campaign was under investigation. That speech would have completely crushed the Trump campaign…Obama didn’t do it because it was the right thing to do, and it still is, which is why Trump and his minions are trying very hard to interfere in the campaign. Because, in reality, they only care about winning, the Constitution and American justice is irrelevant to them.
