She’s my daughter’s kitty.
She started out with the name Devi (@garrybee, I guess that’s where the Asian comes in), but people kept calling her Debbie. So, my daughter renamed her Lilith because she was a little monster…and then Lily for short. Neither name stuck, so she became just Kitty.
Today is Remembrance Day in Canada. I forgot.

Well, there are churches, and then there are churches.
Mine has already had two gatherings for mutual aid and support in the face of this disaster.
I felt sucker-punched all over again when the info for the second, which was a gathering of several churches, included a request not to publicize the meeting on social media for the safety of those attending.
Irony noted; 499 years of Anabaptism and the threat is still from state-run churches, or the wannabees.
