Yep. If they really believed that stuff, and they did, you can with some effort understand how they felt. If only they hadn’t killed people and trashed the Capitol. This is where the tree broke in the hurricane, let’s say. The enablers tried to bend as far as they needed to, but this was too much. They’re still trying to blame Nancy, but I think about 85 percent of the wingnuts know that’s not gonna fly. I think you may be just a bit optimistic. What Whatley is warbling about, these contradictions in who is to blame, vs people must take responsibility for their own actions, but give a free pass to the one who fed them propaganda, and sent them on their way to do his bidding, this is similar to Christian theology.
