Hi Washington Redskins - You might want to take a page from NASCAR’s driving manual.

How are they going to signal the final lap now? They’s always used the most important Confederate flag of all for that.

NASCAR GPS: “In 1/4 mile, turn left . . . in 1/4 mile, turn left . . .”

One thing is military installations and something completely different Nascar event, that’s a blow below the belt, like banning crosses from churches, what the freaking world is coming to!!!

What are they going to ban next, The Dukes of Hazzard re-runs???

NASCAR has banned the Confederate flag from its races and properties

Some might consider that synonymous with banning NASCAR itself.

The old boys are going to boycott Nascar, and the whole business is going to go broke, confederate flags and multi-car crashes is all Nascar is about.

No effin’ way they’re going to be able to enforce that among the fans. My guess is there will be even MORE flags at the races as an act of defiance.
Just try to take away “their” flag.

Well, I did read a couple of days ago that the Demoncrats were working with Rand Paul to put together a “Law and Order” bill that would, among other things - make lynching a federal crime. Apparently talks fell apart after Rand Paul pushed to make the definition of lynching “less broad”.

Yes folks, they were trying to ban too many different types of lynching and he just wasn’t ready for that.

I still can’t wrap my brain around that one - there are types of lynching he wants to remain legal?

They should rename the competition altogether, those are not “Stock Cars” after all Ford and Chevrolet barely make cars anymore…

“NASCAR has banned the Confederate flag from its races and properties.”

“Initial fan outrage was mostly allayed when NASCAR clarified that Russian flags were still allowed.”

You have to take into consideration that it is Rand Paul you are talking about…

We were discussing this development on another thread and I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t have done this without looking into the dollars side. Pretty sure they figured out the complainers would complain about their stupid heritage and political correctness etc. etc. and then show right up again because they enjoy the events, people who were put off by the flags would take note and show up as well, and eventually this would be good business sense.

The strange thing is that a bunch of crazies still consider the Confederate flag as being “patriotic” in contemporary America. Yes, they are that loony!

I would have though that an anti-lynching bill would be something Rand Paul would be all for. After all it was because nobody saw his neighbor beating the shit out him in time, otherwise they would have rush in to join him.

And if the flags appear everywhere in the infield and the stands then what?

With all the beer there I imagine they have a fairly robust security force. If they say no flags I guess they mean no flags.
