Nadler Reassures Caucus He’s Ready To Take Over Impeachment: ‘I’m Not Going To Take Any Shit’

House Judiciary Committee Democrats met behind closed doors for six hours on Tuesday for a private preparation session ahead of the panel’s official overtaking of the impeachment inquiry Wednesday. And the committee’s chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) used the prep time to offer some candidate reassurance to his caucus.

Well, Nadler better be ready because shit is all the GOP is going to throw at him.

The committee held a mock hearing and ex-staffers were brought in to play the role of Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Doug Collins (R-GA) and other aggressive minority members of the committee.

After which they were afforded access to mental health counselors and generous helpings of Seconal.

Well I guess Harris has the free time now, but I imagine she’ll want to stay in the Senate anyway.

‘I’m Not Going To Take Any Shit’

The article does not mention why this exercise, and the declaration by Nadler, was deemed necessary and worth reporting. Nadler’s abysmal performance with the Lewandowski appearance in which he took nothing but shit from the slimy weasel.

It was enough to make anyone doubt Nadler was ready to preside over something important.Let us hope he had learned his lesson and has been taking notes on how subsequent proceedings were handled.

Yeah, but his notes all say “STFU, Donnie. You’re out of your element.”

a private preparation session ahead of the panel’s official overtaking of the impeachment inquiry Wednesday.

some lawmakers privately told Politico there is some concern in the caucus about Nadler’s approach and demeanor, a fear that Republicans plan to seize on Wednesday

It seems clear the reason for the exercise is that Nadler’s panel is about to officially overtake the impeachment inquiry and there is some concern in the caucus about Nadler’s approach and demeanor.

It wasn’t stated, but I assume the reason TPM reported this is that they believe their audience has a nearly-unlimited appetite for every iota of information about the effort to remove The Shittiest Russian Agent from the White House. For the record, I think they’re right about this.

That’s all I’ve got. Hope it helps.

REMEMBER. Don’t get mad, get even. Let THEM show what idiots they are. Let THEM show how they proudly stand AGAINST the rule of law and this country. Give them just enough rope to hang themselves. Gavel them down. We’re pulling for you!

It’s been a tightly run effort up to now.

Nadler WILL blow it.

Just giving some warning here.

Nadler is going to need a few time out chairs for Gaetz and a few other dumbshits when they insist on interrupting the proceedings. He might need to put that statement on a placard behind him too just to remind everyone.

Nadler should insist that Jordan follow decorum and wear a motherfucking suit coat - or leave the room and sit at the kids table.

The inevitable buffoonery on the GOP side of the Judiciary will make Mr. Nadler look like a cross between Clarence Darrow, Abraham Lincoln and Gandhi, by comparison.

Yep, Schiff is a tough act to follow, but here’s hoping the prep time yesterday will help in keeping the next round somewhat on tract. Well, as good as you can get with the Rethug obstructionists.

The only thing Republicans will do during the Judiciary hearing, much like the Intelligence hearing, will be to argue without concern for regular order over the process. They will whine and complain about ‘unfairness’ regarding their side of the aisle. Its all they got. They can’t argue on the merits or the facts so they’ll try to throw mud at everything that makes tRump look bad in order to muck things up. If Nadler does not assert himself from the beginning and shut that down, or if he gives into those antics, the hearing will proceed in the muddled way he is trying to prevent. I believe he’s been given enough support by his caucus, to stiffen his spine and proceed in a much more concerted way, to shut down those outrageous behaviors on the part of those partisan goobers on the panel.
