‘My Rules, My Truck’: MS GOPer, Reporter Spar Over Access For Female Journo | Talking Points Memo

Simply, he does not trust himself with an attractive female or if he tries and she has to much pride and turns him down, what would he tell Trump?

Maybe, but he definitely calls his priest “daddy.”

CNN’s John Berman then closed out the interview asking Foster again whether he’d give a man the access that Campbell requested.

“I would and I stand my ground,” Foster said.

So if perchance Foster finds himself alone with a woman who isn’t his wife he’ll shoot the woman who isn’t his in self defense?
So wiki doesn’t say if Robert and Heather Foster have any children but I wonder at what age will Robert not be alone in a room with his daughter?

It also makes me wonder: His wife was never alone with their son?

I was wondering the same. I also wonder if he would let his baby girl stew in a dirty diaper rather than change it and be made unpure by exposure to the source of her impurity.

Rep. Robert Foster sounds as if he’d love living in Saudi Arabia. The Saudis treat women just like he does. But I wonder if he understands just how badly having a ‘male escort’ sounds…

Perhaps he was hoping …?

Talk about hiding in plain sight…

Maybe he could have Mother Pence come along to chaperone. Problem solved.

But the stars and bars is still proudly displayed, heritage you know.

so basically this fine upstanding Christian man is so devoid of self control that HE doesn’t trust himself to be alone with women/girls not related to him… I hope to hell he doesn’t have any daughters that appeal to his lustful, sinful ways…

Thanks for clearing up the grammar.

OT kinda – I know a state probation director who cautioned his male probation officers to never be in a room (or an elevator) alone with a female probationer to avoid a potential “she said/he said” accusation. In an “always believe the woman accuser” environment, the officer would be compromised, the director believed, regardless of whether he had misbehaved.

Real or imagined, that is reality in some workplaces.

Never happen. He’d be too worried that the gay is catching and would cause him to do something he would never ever do.

“Foster said that he and his wife have a similar rule to what Vice President Mike Pence and second lady Karen Pence follow. Part of their wedding vows was a promise to never be alone in the same room as someone of the opposite gender.”

What strategy does Mrs. Foster employ to assure her husband doesn’t commence a relationship with another man?

If he can’t be alone with “someone” of the opposite sex, doesn’t it mean that “someone” can bring either a man or a female with her? Why did he insist that she bring a male colleague? Plus, I assume it’s safer for the female reporter to have a female campanion instead of staying with two males, especially when one of them is a rethug.
