Murdoch Personally Approved AZ Call For Biden That Enraged Trump, Michael Wolff Writes

Michael Wolff writes in his new book that Fox News owner and right-wing media tycoon Rupert Murdoch personally gave the green light to his network to call Arizona for then-Democratic candidate Joe Biden in the 2020 presidential election, according to Insider.

Who gives a shit…It’s Fox and it’s not news

I would have given anything to see FatAss’s face when he heard about this. Hope someone got it on video. And hope they share it with us all.

Any bets on how long it takes before we hear some mad rant “from the desk” of the twice-impeached Floridian retiree?

They still fired the analyst who made the call, I guess to make sure everyone understands they are still major league assholes.

It might have been a huge blow to Trump’s ego but I don’t see how the call was a huge blow to the campaign.

Ha! Because of course, he could never act surprised.

A Fox News spokesperson denied Wolff’s story about Hemmer, pointing TPM to a [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5YTt3qQfEk8) showing the anchor reacting to his network’s Arizona call with seeming surprise on air on election night.

“[Lachlan’s] father, with signature grunt, assented, adding, ‘F— him,'”

What he said.

Here’s what gets me and why I think it’s completely true. FOX was first to call AZ, and there’s little doubt the call was premature based on the pattern of votes counted later. That call turned out to be correct and I’m guessing FOX’s model was pretty accurate when they made the call, but other outlets were far more cautious and it wasn’t completely clear until the final vote count patterns in Maricopa made it impossible for Trump to close the gap.

The pattern was where mail vote was counted first or at the same time as early in-person, with election day and later-arrive mail ballots counted later, Trump was gaining. Where mail ballots were counted after others, such as PA, WI, MI and GA, Biden could and did close considerable gaps and overtook Trump. In both cases, Trump and his people always ignore that pattern and expected his best result to stand as official, even though in reality he was always behind in all the states he lost because more people cast votes for Biden prior to election day, and Trump tried to use election day to catch up.

We were VERY lucky that no outlets – even FOX – called states like PA and WI for Trump when he held substantial leads even with a lot of votes to count. If you recall, in those states Trump wanted vote counting to stop, while he wanted it to continue in AZ. Figures. He’s an liar and cheat.

And this is another reason why the current AZ Cyber Ninja fraudit is so very important.

Nice news network that has to get clearance from their owner to report factual news

Probably the only thing Rupert and I agree on.

Rupert figured he’d up his revenue from manufacturing outrage by having Joe and Kamala continue as outrage targets. Rupert made a decision based on financial gain and he was most likely correct.

I wonder if Rupert will making the Fox Weather calls. F – it, it’s going to be hot Saturday.

Kind of like a political party that has to get permission from a twice-impeached Florida retiree to do or say fucking anything.

Kingmaker decided that Trump wasn’t king any more. No more need to kiss ass to ex-king. It’s pretty simple. Sorry Trump (not sorry) .

Well Fox calling it didn’t make it flip - they just reported it first.

Someone doesn’t understand cause and effect.

Who knew cause and effect were so complicated?!?

TFG is certainly not the first show Fox has canceled.
I’m half expecting them to come back and run a TFG cartoon to run for president in 2024. Is Matt Groening busy?

It’s called acting.

What I found really interesting about Fox New’s Arizona call wasn’t what happened on election night, but rather what happened on November 7. If I recall the specifics correctly, up until then Fox still considered Nevada a toss-up, while other networks had called it. When Pennsylvania was finally called, Fox simultaneously called Nevada. It’s apparent that the deliberately kept Nevada in the tossup category, otherwise they would have been the first to call the election to Biden.
