What is the legal recourse for someone who, essentially, becomes an amnesiac when giving testimony? This is different than “taking the fifth”, but is there a recourse for this kind of calculated perjury?

What I anticipate is that GOP voters (and not a few “independents”) will rationalize the couping with the immensely popular, “Well they had to do it, didn’t they?” It’s been pointed out a number of times that the lies and perfidies are acceptable because it’s leveling the playing field as liberals, minorities, LBGTs, etc. are gaining on white, straight America and threaten to take away their privilege and “stuff.”
I’m glad this is all coming out, but we need to get out the vote and outvote the ugly.

I always looked at this as a potential meteor strike versus the potential destruction of our country as a democracy
The former would get universal attention
The latter would not, because the Other Side has corrupted entirely the political narrative in this country.
Assuming we survive, the above process will be thoroughly discussed and analyzed from the vantage points of multiple academic disciplines, journalistic analyses and literature

I saw an article late Friday with the five takeaways from her hearing (I can’t find it now to post it) and ultimately it concludes with, since she can’t “recall” anything there’s nothing anyone can really do.
FFS way too many people view these lunatics as nothing more than comic relief. She wasn’t going to jump and and scream, “Hang them all, Go TRUMP!” She’s a serial liar and traitor. Please, MSM, start treating her like one.

We want to destroy the country, that’s a given. Desperate times, and as much as it pains them and goes against their deeply held American principles of fair play and support for the Constitution and rule of law, desperate measures must now be taken. Has to be done. And yet, I can’t help sensing that deep down, they know it’s not true. They’re acting on it all anyway, but they know it’s bogus. Just a hunch. What weird times these are.
