MSNBC TV Won’t Rebrand After NBC’s Split From Microsoft | Talking Points Memo

NBC and Microsoft have completed their corporate split, with the news network’s website now redirecting to nbcnews.com. The cable channel MSNBC will keep its current branding, network executives said in a conference call with reporters Monday. “We have 16 years brand equity built up,” NBC News President Steve Capus said of the cable channel.
