MSNBC anchor Craig Melvin brawled with Georgia state Rep. Vernon Jones (D), an outspoken pro-Trump Democrat, on Wednesday in an interview that flew completely off the handle.
So is this just one of those DINOs who only ran as a Democrat because in his district that’s the only way to have a chance to get elected?

Never heard of this guy but there is no such thing as a “pro Trump Democrat”. If he supports Trump, he’s not a Democrat.
Appears Rhonda Taylor (https://ballotpedia.org/Rhonda_Taylor_(Georgia)) is running for his seat though, hope she’s getting a lot of support in GA because you know Trump has already invited this clown to his next rally and has likely already tweeted his support.
He’s actually worse than a DINO. I watched a part of that interview before going out to walk the dog. This guy must’ve been a stalking horse for a much better candidate in his district. I even made a mental note to myself to look him up when I got back to see what he’s all about and how the hell he got elected, who ran against him in a primary, etc. He argued like a Republican, complete with pre-rehearsed talking points, the typical interruptions and filibustering Pukes do when they’re being challenged and don’t want to answer the questions they’re being asked, and had a different slam on all Democratic initiatives and policies, both from the previous administration and even his own supposed Democratic colleagues. He’s no Democrat. I guarantee you that. He’s like Zell Miller (worse maybe) only he’s “one of my African-Americans” as tRump would no doubt say of him. He’s also working to get tRump re-elected working with his campaign. I was flabbergasted to see this asshole talking as if he was a Dem. No way.
If you are supporting Trump at this juncture whether you be Republican or Democrat , there is something deeply wrong with your character .
He is so obviously and inherently bad for this country and Democracy , no amount of rationalization can lead to support for Trump

He is a state representative, and has only been in office for 1 term, and didn’t run for 2020.
This guy definitely slipped through the cracks in 2018. I haven’t looked him up yet but GA, we got a problem. He’s probably a full-throated Kemp supporter too.
The bare D next to his name doesn’t do a thing for us if he’s pro-Trump and votes with Kemp.
