With lawmakers set to meet at the White House today to begin crafting a health care reform bill that will go to the Senate floor, MoveOn.org is holding two health care rallies this week to drum up support for the public option.The first event will be held in Union Square in New York City today at 4:30 p.m. Called the ‘Thank You Senator Schumer’ rally, this event aims to show support for Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY), and that MoveOn has “got his back heading into these final, crucial weeks.” Schumer is a strong supporter of the public option.
