Morrison: ‘Fears Realized’ After Trump-Zelensky Call Disclosure

Former NSC aide Tim Morrison, who listened in on the July 25 call between President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, said that his “fears have been realized” about the effect its disclosure would have on the political climate.

“HIS fears?” HIS FEARS?!!

What about our fucking fears?

Apparently discord in the current political climate trumps ethics or law.

Fear that the public and especially The House now that they are not and paid for by our side will not understand that we want the power and cash, first and foremost. Which we all know should be A-OK with the American People as it is with REPUGS in general.

But he didn’t have fears about the actual harm Trump was doing by withholding the aid money for several months in an attempt to get a public announcement from Zalensky about investigations into the Bidens??? Seems he’s trying to be a loyal Trump bootlicker but with a bit more finesse than most of the toadies.

Morrison is a right-wing Bolton acolyte creep.

I am not a seasoned political operator, but I don’t really understand what Republicans are attempting to achieve by calling Morrison as a witness. It’s less damaging on a per-minute basis than Vindman’s testimony, sure, but it’s not good. I don’t see a guy who’s about to stand up and say ‘THE PRESIDENT DIDN’T DO A CRIME BUT IF HE DID IT WAS AWESOME’.

Do they just feel like they have to do something, even if the something they come up with doesn’t make a ton of sense?

If he gave a rat’s ass about Ukraine you’d think he’d be pretty pissed about Trump withholding military aid to boost his own reelection chances. Instead he worries about how this will play in the papers,

Fears? Fears that the criminality of the president might finally be laid bare in a way that could be understandable to the average American? That Trump would finally face impeachment in the House?

Those kinds of fears?

Yeah. That right there.

Ukraine is important, but it isn’t nearly as important as the integrity of the 2020 election and the importance of the rule of law. At its base this case is about a President using his official position to advance his personal interests. What I fear is a loss of American freedom and a reversion to rule of the thug.

Morrison has the demeanor of a real cocky sonafabitch; Devin Nunes’ 2nd Cousin?

Morrison is going to try to help Trump out anyway he can - which is not much. But Volker is going to run over Trump/Guilliani with the BUS. Back, up, run them over again. Back up, run them over again.

Volker has determined that making clear that a Biden investigation was WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, will hopefully insulate him from later perjury charges.

New Republican defense of Trump:

It’s too soon after the 2016 election and too close to the 2020 election to talk about the President’s corruption and criminality, and to even conduct an impeachment inquiry.

Kind of like the gun violence thing they do.

But our thoughts and prayers are with getting through this and holding on to as much power as we can.

Nice try. POTUS was directly trying to fuck up the “political climate”. And your job has nada to do with the political climate in any event.
Your idiot boss squeezed the Ukraine for partisan political political purposes, and then has lied about it, which is national security failure, you dweeb. THAT’s your job. So you buried the facts despite their being known of course by the other side and probably by the Russians. Comprimat, you bozo. Nice job, Brownie.

A rather anal retentive fella; that Morrison guy. Just told someone they could look-it-up on “The Internet”; what he was referring to.

It’s already divided.

I know. That’s why I put it in quotes to attribute to Morrison, if he’d come out and said such a stupid-ass thing about his ‘fears.’

I hope you didn’t think I was rolling my eyes at you! I was rolling them at his stupidity. Beyond that I can see that I should have given your quote marks more credit. I took them as setting out the word Morrison used. hahahahahahahahahahaha
