Moderates Unite: Buttigieg Is Reportedly Planning To Endorse Biden | Talking Points Memo

I liked Warren, but until I find out which 15 year old she wants to interview her Secretary of Education I find it hard to actually vote for her. Unless of course that was just horrible and obvious pandering…

It hardly matters. The DOJ is going to announce on October 3rd the Dem candidate is under investigation for some sort of felony anyway.

Gee, I think the country’s quite a bit different already. Can’t say I like it much.

It makes one wonder what deal is in the works for Bloomberg to drop out now, as he is the last one who can pull votes away from Biden:
Promise not to raise taxes on the wealthy?
Promise no new regs on Wall Street?
All of the above?

Yes, that’s sort of how American politics has operated for a while now.

You’re … stunned?

True dat.

They’ve got a server, now all they need is some emails. And Huma! She’s been quiet too long. Must be up to something.

The democratic party is not the trump party. I’m not exactly comparing the two as the same apple.

At least they were shamed into not being so overtly ham fisted showing their candidate preferences this time.

Like 2008 and 2016 primaries didn’t happen. Unbelievable.

Just like the rest of us, despite how much folks want to paint Bernie supporters as nihilists

When you show how easily you can be outplayed in the primary… its s joke to crow about someone’s superior electability.

Again the lessons of 2008 and 2016 are there for us to learn from our ignore…

Or the lesson of 2004 with regards to thinking this far out we will know what a “safe choice” is.

Is Biden up to the task, though? Health wise? I know some will say this question is ageist but objectively he is near the end, and not prime, of his mental arc.

Watch this (7 seconds long).

Which is why people should worry a little less about (pretended) “skeletons,” vote for a candidate whose programs they honestly prefer, and then fight like hell to elect the eventual nominee in November.

Amy or Liz.

I dunno, but as far as I know Biden didn’t have a heart attack in the last year and then promise to release records about it (still waiting)

The name recognition from having been part of the last 2 presidential elections, partly.

I thought those were the pillars of the “moderate lane”

Which task do you mean? Winning the nomination, winning the general election, or governing?

I’m starting to see a pattern of potential risks with nominating men in their late 70s…

Clearly they believe Sen. Warren is an ophiophile.

I meant the stress of the office of the presidency but all are valid questions.
